‘Aita has been learning how to move and control a soccer ball as part of our weekly PE sessions with Eastern Suburbs Football coaches Juliette and Callum. She has even learnt how to stop the ball using one foot, remember the no hands rule!
We have been learning about solids, liquids and gas as part of our Science Inquiry this term. ‘Aita made butter from liquid cream and then spread the solid butter onto the hot toast to watch it melt!
I coloured in the petals of the flower using different coloured crayons. Then I used the scissors to cut out the flower and the leaf and I stuck it onto the card and wrote some kind words inside for my Mum.
I enjoyed drawing a picture of myself and then using crayon and dye to colour it in. I have learnt what I like and don’t like as part of our All About Me Inquiry for this term.
‘Aita enjoyed learning the dance moves as part of the Junior Hip Hop group for Fia Fia! She was confident and enjoyed performing in front of a large audience. Well done from Mrs Carter.
I have drawn my own self-portrait as part of our All about me Inquiry focus for this term. I used crayon and dye and coloured in some designs for the border. I also enjoyed drawing and painting my Pasifika flower!
Aita enjoyed having a picnic lunch with her friends from school and joining in the fun activities at the beach today. What did you like the best?
Aita has been working hard at staying on task at school, whilst using beautiful manners in Rm 21! Well done from Mrs Carter.
On Friday Mrs Carter made some jelly as we had the letter J for the week. There were two colours – red and green which looked like stop and go of the traffic lights. It was cold and yummy!
